Being immature is by choice not by compulsion

People these days put their hundred per cent to show that no one's more mature than them. They want to show it too much that at some point in life they forget whether they are mature or they are just pretending to be in the act of life just like the whole nine yards.

When I realized it's very important for people to act mature in front of all in all spheres of life I just took to my heels seems like the best option I had. Sometimes it's difficult to decipher why everyone behaves like that, why so serious and so on while on the other hand, you can deal with tough situations by being immature and bubbly which relaxes your mind with less amount of worries, pressure, fears, etc.

People misjudge me very often. I act immature all the time as for me maturity comes at a different level, for example, not crying for four months when someone close to you dies to maintain harmony in the family knowing you are the only strength, not talking back to your work people when they laugh at your new haircut or a new look, acting strong and fun-loving when one of your friends tell you that he/she wants to commit suicide, pretending not to know any ill things people say behind your back and being friendly with them at the same time just to avoid unnecessary conflicts, knowing people don't get your joke still cracking jokes so that they wouldn't notice what you feel, etc. There are various places where you can act mature but hey it doesn't mean you have to act mature every time otherwise you will end up losing your essence which is not healthy at all.

Maturity comes within situations. For me being immature is by choice not by compulsion. The choice is yours whether you want to act stiff all the time or you are stiff deep inside. It's totally up to you which side you want to show but that doesn't mean we can misunderstand people or make fun of them. The mature or immature choice is yours but doesn't judge or else you will be judged one day.
